Map is courtesy of the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OKQuite a wild weather weekend across much of the United States. Strong thunderstorms along with tornadoes in the South. A winter storm looms for the Midwest and Northeastern sections. Very windy conditions across much of the Tennessee Valley.
Here on the Plateau in Tennessee...we're watching the continued development of a strong, low-pressure system. It will move east and bring a tight gradient which will cause our winds to increase overnight. The NWS has issued a Wind Advisory for us through tomorrow morning.
