I've linked this map above to the title of my post that shows where rain fell in Tennessee on Saturday. Click on the title for an interactive map. Courtesy of CoCoRaHS.
Where the storms popped, some areas received quite a bit of rain while others received very little. Near Jackson (in West Tennessee), a station reported over 2 inches of rainfall. A station in Northern Middle Tennessee near Springfield showed 1.74" in their rain gauge. Another station in Dekalb County (near Smithville in Middle Tennessee) reported 1.71".....
Right here in the Cookeville area, we were dry yet again. To my immediate south, west, and north, it rained and rained heavily.
Today's forecast calls for a 50% chance for rain. Cooler tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday and then the warmup begins.
