Hey mike, I got a few golf tournaments in cookville coming up, and I would like to get a feel of the courses there. It's sort of a long drive back to Thompson's station. About 1 1/2 - 2 hours, and we' d like to get a bit to eat before heading home. Do you know of any good restaurants out there?
Let's see...how about Outback, Puelos Grille, El Tapatio, Longhorn, Ruby Tuesday, Cheddars, Applebees, O'Charley's, Chilis, Red Lobster, Shoney's, Ryan's, Golden Corral, Chik-Fil-A, Jack In The Box, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendys, Long John Silvers, Captain D's, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, all the Chinese Buffets, Goten Japanese Steakhouse...whatever ya'll like, we've got here in Cookeville.
The golf courses are Cookeville Golf Club (flat w/some great golf holes), Ironwood (a little hilly in spots and some tough holes), White Plains (good holes/bad holes, nice layout considering the subdivision was more important than the track), Southern Hills (short and easy to score on), and Belle Acres (an old, old short course in the middle of town).
