Big Thunderstorm This Afternoon

Around 4 pm, we were hit with quite a thunderstorm. Strong winds, frequent and dangerous lightning and heavy rain combined to make things quite interesting. I've seen one downed tree this evening. Rain is continuing to fall.

At 5:55 pm, we've had .70 and the latest radar look indicates some heavy rain showers to our north and they could make it into the Cookeville area in the next hour or so.
