Change of Weather...FINALLY!

Jeff Ray over at News 2 in Nashville posted this morning about the weather pattern change. You can view it by clicking here.

Up here on the Plateau, our forecast doesn't have a single day in the 90's! We do have a pretty good chance for rain (about 50%) and the possibility for some STRONG storms today and tonight.

On this date in history:

August 29, 2005...Hurricane Katrina makes landfall in Louisiana and Mississippi.

On August 29, 1963...One-day rainfall records are set at Pulaski (7.06") and Shelbyville (6.69").

On August 29, 1986...A low temperature of 44 degrees breaks Clarksville's record for August. In addition, Crossville's 44 degrees and Nashville's 49 set new daily record lows.

On August 29, 1990...Wind gust of 70 mph is recorded at Nashville.

Maybe you will get some weather today. We are flirting with the upper 80s, but so far we have been able to get down to 91 degrees. Oh so close!
