Several sections of Tennessee have reported rainfall since last evening. One station in Tennessee reported 5.01".

From the National Weather Service:
On this date in 1999, Livingston, TN reported 5.80"...it was the greatest one-day rainfall in that town ever.
Tonight in Spring City, TN, they are under a Flood Statement as 3 inches of rain has fallen, causing the streams and creeks to overflow their banks.
Cooler temperatures are in our forecast! We'll take it.
