Our weather here in Cookeville, TN is sunny and chilly with a brisk north wind for Friday after Thanksgiving. This day is known in the retailing world as 'Black Friday' because retailers get a big influx of CASH (shoppers spending it) and it helps to put some in the 'black' (profitable).
Words of ADVICE...quit listening to the Mainstream Media telling you how bleak everything is. On one hand, the conventional wisdom is telling is that retailers expect a sales to increase about 4% over last year....then you hear how bleak it is...the last time I checked, an increase of last year's sales is reason to celebrate!
