We'll have a beautiful, sunny Wednesday here on the Plateau. Temperatures will top out around 58° after our morning start in the middle and upper 30's. Don't get to used to sunshine as rain returns through at least Friday night.
Some indications (at this point) are we could receive up to 4 inches of rainfall over the next few days (in isolated locations, of course). With the ground already saturated (especially over western sections of Tennessee), this could cause significant flooding.
The good news is the continuing rainfall is helping us 'catch up' from a very dry 2007.

While many areas are much in need of rain, one also has to wonder what kind of summer we are looking at with such early and copious precip. For example, the area in FL where I live usually has a dry April but we've already seen almost an entire month's moisture in less than 1 week. Let's just hope that hurricane season doesn't also arrive a month early!
Yep, let's definitely hope that it'll be a QUIET hurricane season for you guys.
We've been in such a long drought, that rainfall is a WELCOMED sight in this area!
Are you all closer to getting moved up here?
Re: moving, yeah we've had some nibbles on our house. Waiting patiently. The market does seem to be picking up a little momentum, as the folks who'd been waiting on the sidelines for good prices are starting to re-enter the picture.
