The latest forecasting run is out and we are more confident than before concerning rain on July 4th here in Cookeville, TN. I'm quite sure this is unwelcomed news.
An approaching from the north along with a series of impulses will increase our rain chances to 60% by tomorrow. While we don't expect a complete washout, we do expect enough coverage to cause some plans to be rained out.
At this time, there is NOT an expectation of strong to severe weather...which is GREAT news!
The rainfall will move out of our area for Sunday, but then chances return once again around Tuesday. That, however, is a bit of a long way out, so we'll watch everything and keep you informed.
