Get Ready For Some Cool Weather

Looking ahead to our workweek, I see some overnight lows in the 40's by midweek!  As Davis Nolan over at News 2 (Nashville) say in his post "Are You Ready For Some REAL Fall Weather ?"  40's will seem really COLD! :)

The cold weather ahead will be courtesy of two cold fronts headed our way.  Typical highs and lows for this time of year are 78 and 51, so we'll be below normal later in the week.

Congratulations to our Tennessee Titans who beat the Minnesota Vikings today in Nashville at LP Field by the final of 30-17.  Looking like the Titans are the real deal.  Next up are the Baltimore Ravens and there is little love among these two squads.  


Finally, got a chance this afternoon to see the movie "Fireproof " starring Kirk Cameron.  INCREDIBLE is a word I can use to describe it.  Early numbers show this movie in the TOP 5 in this weekend's box office receipts.  There are some nut job movie reviewers out there who are trashing it for all the wrong reasons.  If you're married or planning to marry one day, I'd encourage you to see it with your spouse.  I hope all of you will fireproof your marriage.  Our church will be conducting a six-week teaching series about fireproofing your marriage.  I'll post more about it later.
