Blog Hits, Sunshine & October Summary!

WEBSITE UPDATE
You guys continue to amaze me with your dedication to this blog.  For the month of October, visits to my website were up 137% versus last year and total page views were up 151%.  October is typically one of the slower (and boring weather wise) months of the year due to the lack of rain & other weather 'events'.   Numbers and measurements are really important to us in the weather business.  Thank you for making my numbers look great!

TODAY'S WEATHER
Looking outdoors today, it was another cold morning once again.  We are, however, headed up to near 70° for our high today under sunny skies!

SPEAKING OF NUMBERS

Take a look at this sign....can you believe that no one has ever drowned at Center Hill Lake without a life jacket on BUT nearly 100 people have lost their lives due to swimming in this deep lake and not wearing one. That is a sobering statistic. You can check out yesterday's post and pictures of this beautiful body of water.
