Temperatures are falling to our west with stations around Nashville in the lower 40's while stations around Clarksville are in the 30's. Our temperatures will begin to fall as well later this morning. We'll be dry until later tonight when another low pressure system crosses our area. The big question right now is how much cold air will be in place and will it be enough to cause the precipitation to change to all snow. This COULD (I emphasize the word could) lead to some accumulating snow here and to our east on the Plateau. The forecast is complicated, to say the least. The timing on this possible event is Thursday night.

Wow, THAT's some serious rain! We're getting ready for a drenching here in FL tomorrow. Once I get up to Cookeville (end of next week) I need to start scouting out a spot for some weather instruments at our new house. I can put my son in charge of taking readings. I think he'll enjoy that.
