We've flirted with the 40° mark around 12 noon, but have backed off that this afternoon. Skies are, however, mostly clear with bright sunshine. The West-Southwest wind is making things feel chilly if you're outside for very long. My Weather Station Live History
Temperatures tonight will be on the cold side as we see low 20's by daybreak here in Cookeville and even lower as you get outside the city.
Looking at our weather for Friday through the weekend, expect high temperatures on Friday to rebound to near 50° under a sunny sky (it'll feel like summer...ummm, NOT!). Rain returns Friday night with lows in the 40's and Saturday appears to be a mixed bag as we begin with rain but end with snow. The snow continues for Saturday night. I'm not excited, right now, about any accumulations. Sunday will be sunny once again with a similar type day as we've had today. Chilly, but nice with a cool wind.
Cheer on our Titans Saturday as they host the Baltimore Ravens. It is step #2 in our quest to reach the Super Bowl!
