RAINFALL FOR THE FIRST 4 DAYS OF MAY HAS TOTALED 4.17 INCHES IN
NASHVILLE...MAKING IT THE WETTEST START SINCE MAY OF 1979 WHEN
4.78 INCHES OF RAIN FELL DURING THE FIRST 4 DAYS.

MORE RAIN IS IN THE FORECAST FOR LATER TONIGHT AND DURING THE DAY
WEDNESDAY...AS YET ANOTHER MOISTURE LADEN SYSTEM HEADS TOWARD
MIDDLE TENNESSEE. A FLOOD WATCH MAY BE ISSUED LATER THIS AFTERNOON...

Did you notice the impressive 4 day total in Warren County? According to one station on CoCRHS, we were just shy of 8 inches! I can verify this with my unofficial rain gage which had to be dumped when it reached 6 inches.
