**HOT WEEKEND**
Some areas are dealing with fog this morning. That should burn off early and expect a sunny, hot day. Highs will be near 90° in Cookeville. Mostly clear overnight with lows in the lower 60's. On Saturday, much of the same with highs around 90° once again..only a very slight chance for showers and they will be scattered. Make it the same forecast for Sunday. Enjoy your weekend!
Increasing rain chances by Monday....I'm still not convinced at this point, but worth mentioning since it is in the forecast.
If you're planning a trip to Nashville or Knoxville today, TDEC (Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation) has issued an AIR QUALITY ALERT for both metro areas and their surrounding counties.
