Snow Advisory Late

From the Nat'l Weather Service

...A SNOW ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU LATE
TONIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING...

MEANWHILE...A LOW PRESSURE AREA WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE
GULF COASTAL AREA...AND TRACK EAST NORTHEAST...TO JUST OFF THE
GEORGIA COAST BY EARLY SATURDAY. THESE TWO WEATHER EVENTS WILL
COMBINE TO PRODUCE THE LIKELIHOOD FOR AN ACCUMULATING SNOW ALONG
THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU LATE TONIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING...AND
THE CREATION OF POSSIBLE TRAVEL PROBLEMS. ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN
ONE AND THREE INCHES ARE EXPECTED TO BE COMMON. A DUSTING OF SNOW
IS POSSIBLE OVER OTHER EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AREAS...MAINLY BETWEEN
INTERSTATE 65 AND THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...AND NEAR THE ALABAMA
BORDER.
