We finally saw temperatures rise above 32 degrees today in Cookeville at 12:33 PM. The streak began at 4:22 am on January 1st and lasted more than 10 straight days. That represents 248 hours and 11 minutes. This is the 2nd longest since records have been kept dating back to 1896. During this 10-day streak, temps have average just 28 for the high at the NWS Coop Station in South Cookeville and 25 here at my home. A chance of snow is in the forecast for later this evening.
