Next rain/snow event is cranking up out west!
THE WEEK AHEAD: Monday is expected to be cloudy with a chance of snow moving in on Monday night after midnight. A rain/snow mix for Tuesday and all snow Tuesday night lingering into Wednesday. Expect below normal temperatures (same old story) for the beginning of March. We do, however, see warmer weather by next weekend.

The tsunami warning issued for the Hawaiian Islands turned out to be a non-event. What could have been a terrible disaster was avoided. Even with great science, things like tidal wave activity and weather are both still very hard to predict.
