ALL RAIN: Temperatures hovered right at 35° overnight. The result of those few degrees above freezing was an all-rain event overnight as opposed to a freezing rain situation. We recorded .19" overnight which could have made for quite a mess had temps been a few degrees lower. For Tuesday, expect highs to be around 44° this afternoon with rain before noon. Exciting things for late week in the forecast below!

Jeff Ray, at Nashville WX, says the first-half of February is expected to be much colder with below-normal temperatures.

That was quite an interesting cold fog/drizzle mix this morning. At least the temps are trying to stay above freezing.
Rumor has it that Putnam schools will try to open 2 hours late on Thursday. According to someone whose spouse works for the school system (it seems like EVERYONE here knows someone who knows someone, etc.) - we'll see; I think even the kids are ready to go back, before they start losing days off their summer break!
