Still under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 8 pm tonight.

A strong electrical storm has been hanging out over Cookeville. Be cautious as numerous lightning strikes make this a potentially deadly storm.

If you hear thunder, you are in danger of being struck & killed..don't be a statistic.

Expect more of this type of weather during the Memorial Day weekend holiday.
