Frost Advisory Tonight

We are headlined with a FROST ADVISORY for tonight. More on that later.

SUNNY AND CHILLY
A beautiful, sun-filled day across the Upper Cumberland for your Wednesday. Temperatures, though, will fight to get to near 60°. We're starting at 42° with areas of dense fog for much of the area. A FOG ADVISORY is in effect until 9 am for the counties on or near the Cumberland Plateau.

COLD AIR COMING
Tonight, a cold air mass will settle across the area later, according to the National Weather Service. With lows expected in the middle to upper 30's areas of frost will develop and may threaten sensitive vegetation.

DAMAGE POSSIBLE TO PLANTS
I would cover any plants you don't want to lose, especially those in the garden and those flowers that are blooming, have buds on them, or are just now pushing through the ground.

*Latest Local Forecast*

We recorded another 1.59" of rain on Tuesday. We are continuing to be far ahead of an average year.

Finally, a warming trend through the rest of this week into next with highs in the upper 60's Thursday and Friday and in the 70's Saturday and 80's on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday! Only slight chances for rain on both Friday and Saturday.
