A beautiful early March day is in the forecast for Wednesday. Expect highs to approach 70° this afternoon across much of middle Tennessee with windy conditions once again. We'll be about 17° above normal here in Cookeville. Rain begins to develop overnight back to our west. Rain continues on Thursday with the possibility of heavy rainfall especially on Thursday night.
A slight chance for showers on Friday and cooler with a high only in the mid 50's. I think Saturday will end up being a decent day with sunshine and highs in the 60's. Rain returns Saturday into Sunday.

WEATHER SITE OF THE DAY: AccuWeather.com
Yesterday, we featured the website Weather.com. Today, we are continuing the theme of the large, national websites and focus on AccuWeather.com. AccuWeather is a very well-designed, informational weather site that lets you drill down to your specific area. Their graphics are rich and easy on the eyes. The story content is hearty.
Like Weather.com, they do struggle just a bit with specifics for your local area, but overall do a good job for the casual reader seeking weather information. AccuWeather has a nice set of apps for your Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows mobile, and Blackberry devices. Finally, AccuWeather makes it easy to post their information to social media sites such as Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter.
