Another Round of Storms Possible

We'll have another tropical-like day on Saturday across middle TN. This seems to be a recurrent theme since the heatwave broke at the first of the week. Expect a high today in the mid to upper 80's. Thunderstorm chances diminish overnight with a low of 71° and then a decent (40%) chance on Sunday with highs reaching 90° for the first time in nearly a week.

Lines of storms are pushing northward this morning along I-40 around Nashville and mainly to the west. Another batch of rainfall is pushing northward to Crossville. Some of these storms have very heavy rainfall embedded in them.
