The radar indicates isolated and scattered thunderstorms are firing across middle TN late Sunday afternoon. The dangerous part of this is some of these storms are strong to severe in intensity with large hail and damaging winds. There is quite a bit of cloud to ground lightning, which is very dangerous.
Temperatures have pushed into the upper 90's across much of the region where storms haven't fired up. Storm chances are still pegged at around 40% for most of us.
The forecast for rain Monday through Wednesday still looks great. We'll update the blog as conditions warrant.
