We've added another tenth of an inch of rainfall since sunset bringing our total on Saturday to 2.09". For the month of July we stand at 5.90", which is nearly an inch above normal for the entire month. Typically in the first six days of July we'll receive around 1 inch.
Overnight expect a couple of more rounds of rain. Radar is indicating redevelopment of showers to our west in Wilson and Smith Counties. A strong line of rainfall is just west of Nashville and these bands of rain are pushing eastward.
Sunday is expected to bring us more rainfall and then we'll switch to a more seasonal pattern of afternoon pop-up style of thunderstorms around the first of next week.
