Even though this has been one of the coldest winters in recent memory, it won't be long until we have chances of severe to strong weather.

February 16 through February 22 has been designated as Severe Weather Awareness Week across Tennessee.
MOST ACTIVE TIME OF YEAR:
Historically the spring months (March, April, and May) tend to be the most active for severe weather throughout the Volunteer State. There is a secondary season in November as well.
